Digital Shoreditch Festival
Got the opportunity to attend Digital Shoreditch Festival an annual festival that brings together the Creative, Tech and Entrepreneur community to celebrate outstanding work, share ideas and look forward to the future.
5 intense days of talks and activities around technology and the implications for our lives in the present and future.
I was able to see a few talks, chat with a few speakers and overall immerse myself in the atmosphere of the festival. As a volunteer I spent some time in the basement talking people through the amazing installations by Queen Mary Uni Phd candidates and others. I got to help in the cloakroom and in speaker halls.
Favorite Talks and Moments
Had an amazing chat with Tommy Darker who also gave a talk, learn more about him on music and entreneurship.
Good chat with Dan Harvey as well, around Storytelling, ‘StoryLiving’
Invited by Generating Genius to partake in this workshop for girls in technology. I’m passionate about women in technology and edtech, so it was a good place to be.
The opportunity to show girls that there’s so much they could do in technology and inspire some ideas was great. The reward was seeing how passionate they were about using technology as a tool to create a better world especially for women of all ages.
Web We Want
The opportunity to tell people about UX is always welcome because it also allows me to refine my ideas around it, helps me focus on the most important things. The interest was great and I can’t wait to do another one.
